The classic Tudor Rose, also known as the Union Rose. This symbolic flower originates from the start of the Tudor Dynasty in 1485 and the Rule of Henry the VII of England, after the Great War of the Roses.
It is also one of my most popular beads among makers and jewelry designers, renaissance enthusiasts and SCA members.
Notice: 8/25/2014 -- There is a two week lead time for Tudor Rose orders as we have none in stock at this time and are making more. Production takes about a week, finishing and shipping about a week. If you have any questions at all please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hand painted beads bring fresh possibilities to jewelry designers looking for new expression, unique bead shapes and original form. From intricate filigree to flowing swirls my beads work well as accent and focal. Each bead is hand painted with joy and care, with intention. Hand Painted - Elevated. I hand paint each bead using a porcupine quill and hand shaped miniature brushes. Each painted bead is dipped in a very special coating that gives them a super shiny, thick glass like finish that protects the delicate painting underneath. The bead holes are finished with metal grommets. These are painted wood beads. Remarkably light weight for their size. There are no other beads like them.
Because of the nature of hand painting and hand dipping the beads one at a time, each bead has its own character. Each brush mark is unique. There will be subtle variations between beads.
The photos are taken with day spectrum lighting on a table top photo studio, yes the beads really are that bright and vivid!
Your beads are guaranteed! If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with the beads received, please return them within 7 days for refund of the purchase price.
I gladly accept custom orders. Design our own pieces starting with your own beads. Feel free to message me with your ideas about custom designs.
